CIBITOKE, October 2nd (ABP) – Three classrooms were destroyed on Monday, September 30, 2024 by heavy rain mixed with strong wind at Giserama basic school in Bukinanyana district, Cibitoke province.
According to Bukinanyana district education director Emery Sosthène Ndayizeye, who provided this information, the walls of one of the three destroyed classrooms collapsed, and as a result, the educational manuals and school notebooks were damaged. The same educational manager of Bukinanyana district pleads for support from the natives in the rehabilitation of those classrooms, for the smooth continuation of learning.
It is worthy to recall that less than 2 weeks ago, five classrooms suffered the same fate in the same district, three at the Bukinanyana district technical high school, one classroom at the Gahabura district high school and another at Shimwe basic school.
