vows more fiscal policies to hit 5% GDP growth target.
Today is the second day of the China Development Forum 2025. The first day of the forum saw more than a dozen events, including discussions on artificial intelligence. The event focuses on stable growth for the global economy and features 12 symposiums and several closed-door sessions. Topics include new quality productive forces, AI innovations, and green development.
At the opening ceremony on Sunday, Chinese Premier Li Qiang reiterated China’s commitment to openness and global collaboration. He noted that more proactive fiscal policies will be implemented to hit the economic growth rate target of around 5 percent for 2025.
