BUJUMBURA, May 28 (ABP) – The CNDD-FDD party continued its election campaign on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in the extended province of Bujumbura, ahead of the legislative and communal elections scheduled for June 5. This phase led party officials to the Ndora and Ndava zones of Bukinanyana commune, where a strong mobilization of party supporters was observed, a check by ABP reported.
Addressing the Bagumyabanga (party members), the CNDD-FDD’s provincial secretary in Bujumbura, Alexandre Ngoragoze, delivered a powerful message filled with spirituality and confidence: “Bisanzwe bimeze gutyo Imana iri kumwe na twe, uwodutsinda yoba nde?” (Since God is with us, who can defeat us?). He called on the party’s supporters to intensify efforts in raising awareness among the population about the party’s values and achievements.
According to him, the CNDD-FDD’s objective for the province is to win all 23 parliamentary seats and secure the majority of communal council positions across the various communes, including Bukinanyana.
Mr. Ngoragoze also emphasized the importance of exemplary behavior throughout the entire electoral period. He thus called for restraint, mutual respect, and the preservation of peace, which he described as essential elements for national stability.

He also presented the party’s priority program areas, which focus particularly on consolidating peace, promoting Burundian culture, and ensuring security as a foundation for socio-economic development.
In the same spirit, the party’s secretary in charge of ideology, Emery Landry Nyandwi, urged voters to participate massively in the upcoming vote. He explained how to vote correctly, by placing a fingerprint in front of the eagle symbol, the emblem of the CNDD-FDD party.
The session concluded with a practical demonstration of the voting process, led by parliamentary candidate Ezéchiel Nibigira. This activity aimed to reduce the risk of errors that could invalidate the ballots.
It is worth noting that the CNDD-FDD’s campaign continues in other communes of the extended province of Bujumbura under the slogan: mobilization, discipline, and victory.
