MWARO, May 28 (ABP) – Women are called on to respond massively to the legislative and communal elections scheduled for June 5, 2025. This was mentioned on Thursday, May 22, 2025, by the parliamentary candidate of the National Rally for Change party (RANAC), Gloriose Odette Nijebariko, during the rally that this party conducted in the center of Kibumbu, in the extended commune of Mwaro.

During this electoral meeting of the RANAC party, Nijebariko presented the party’s social project once elected. Thus, RANAC highlighted modernized and mechanized agriculture, modern ranching with a project called “Gira Inka Murundi,” education aligned with “training/labor market,” employment, and the fight against unemployment. For Nijebariko, the RANAC party plans to reduce unemployment to a rate of 10% through social transfers and the industrialization of the five provinces of Burundi.

According to Nijebariko, RANAC will also develop other sectors such as commerce, transport, energy, health, nutrition, fair and equitable good governance, diplomacy, and international relations. She called on all Burundians in general, and especially women, to vote in the upcoming election, because not voting is losing citizenship, she concluded.
