NGOZI, April 2nd (ABP) – Assistance consisting of 300kg of maize flour, 300kg of beans, 200kg of rice and 4 bags of charcoal was distributed on 31 March 2025 to students at the University of Ngozi from the Busoni commune in the province of Kirundo by Richard Ngabonziza, the administrator of that commune.

Ngabonziza advised them to show solidarity and help each other to overcome the problems they encounter in their student life.  Another piece of advice he gave was to form an association to facilitate mutual support and initiate micro-projects to be carried out as a cooperative.

In his turn, Apollinaire Bangayimbaga, Rector of the University of Ngozi, welcomed that gesture of love, which only serves to encourage students, and hoped that others would be inspired to make similar gestures. And the students expressed their joy at that assistance from the administration.
