MAKAMBA, November 15th (ABP) – At a meeting for Brarudi drinks traders held on the afternoon of Wednesday 14 November 2024, the governor of Makamba province, Tantine Ncutinamagara, recommended that these mainly alcoholic drinks should not be sold in shops and that anyone with a license to operate should present it to the local administration within a period not exceeding one week.

However, she asked the administration to check whether the owners of the licences have hotels or bars, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

After listening to how the Mega Nyanza-Lac rationally manages these BRARUDI products, Mrs. Ncutinamagara asked the manager of the Mega Mabanda to devise strategies so that each hill has at least one representative who buys supplies from the Mega, as is the case in Nyanza-Lac.

Still in the context of the rational distribution of BRARUDI products and to facilitate the supply of BRARUDI products to Kayogoro commune, Mrs. Ncutinamagara asked the BRARUDI delegate and the Mega owners to study how traders in these products in Kayogoro commune can obtain supplies from the two mega stores in Makamba province.

Governor Ncutinamagara warned them against transferring drinks from one cabaret to another. From now on, drinks destined for a given bar must be consumed there.
