CANKUZO, August 2 (ABP) – Merchants of Buhumuza are being called upon to contribute to the development of the province.
This appeal was made to them by the governor of the province, Mrs. Denise Ndaruhekere, during a meeting she held with them to consult on the image of the province within the vision of an emerging and developed country.
During this meeting, Governor Ndaruhekere indicated that the population of Buhumuza must take the lead in building their province, specifying that this requires a combination of efforts from everyone. In this regard, she emphasized that the role of merchants remains important.

She urged them to focus their efforts on the construction of modern infrastructure, especially in the provincial capital, in line with the vision of an emerging country by 2040 and a developed one by 2060.
She encouraged all merchants to work transparently by avoiding all forms of fraud, regularly paying taxes and duties, using electronic billing machines.
The participants reiterated their commitment to supporting the development of the province.
However, they requested that decisions made be communicated to them in advance, before implementation. They also asked for the translation of tax laws and regulations into the native language so that everyone can clearly understand them.
