BUJUMBURA, February 27th (ABP) – The First Lady of the Republic of Burundi, Angeline Ndayishimiye, travelled to Zanzibar in the United Republic of Tanzania on Wednesday 26 February 2025. She will be taking part in the launch of the “We are equal” campaign of the Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OPDAD), scheduled for 28 February 2025 in Zanzibar, according to a press release from the Office of Information, Communication and the Spokesperson of the President of the Republic.
The same press release noted that the First Lady had accepted the invitation of the First Lady of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mariam H. Mwinyi.
