Burundi’s First Lady returned from the United States of America

BUJUMBURA, September 18^th (ABP) – The First Lady of Burundi, Mrs. Angeline

Ndayishimiye, returned on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from a mission to the United States of America, where she took part in a meeting on women’s development and the sovereignty of each nation with regard to the protection of morals.

In an interview given to the press on her arrival at Melchior Ndadaye international airport, she said that the meeting had focused on the protection of women, their health and their integrity.

Discussions also focused on the sovereignty of each country in deciding on imported mores such as homosexuality and abortion, she added.
