BUJUMBURA, March 26th (ABP) –Executives and former students from the various universities in Bujumbura town hall, both natives and members of the CNDD-FDD party, from the former province of Karusi living in Bujumbura, met on Sunday 23 March 2025 to exchange good wishes and discuss how to behave during the election period, Rénovat Ndayikengurutse, CNDD-FDD Communal Secretary for Shombo commune, pointed out that the country is safe and development is proceeding apace. He asked the executives born in the former province of Karusi to have a heart full of love for their little student brothers, because they are the Burundi of tomorrow. He called on the young Imbonerakura students from the former province of Karusi to work hard to ensure that the new commune of Karusi and Shombo keeps the same ranking in the elections as the former province of Karusi did in the previous elections.
Elysée Mbazumutima, president of the Imbonerakure youth league in the new commune of Karusi, called on the Imbonerakure to adopt good behaviour during the election period, as a true Imbonerakure is characterised by development work. He called on the students to reassure the population during the election period, as they are the first users of social networks. He pointed out that those media sometimes transmit information that does not reassure the people. He invited the young Imbonerakure students to get to know the leaders and support their brothers and sisters who have not had the chance to continue their studies. The meeting ended with a drink.
