NGOZI, March 7th (ABP) – The councillor in charge of legal affairs for Ngozi province, Mr Paul Niyonzima, is pleased with the contribution made by Burundi Brewery, based in Vyerwa, in the commune and province of Ngozi.
That statement was made on Friday 28 February 2025, during the ceremonies for the exchange of New Year’s wishes for 2025, between the company’s staff.
It was also an opportunity to launch a new brand of beer called “Buryohe forté”.
According to him, the brewery’s contribution lies in providing jobs, thus helping to reduce unemployment, and in paying taxes. He encouraged the company to continue to produce a lot of beer, and to think about making non-toxic drinks and wines.
Mr Niyonzima invited other shareholders to put their capital into the construction of such companies, which could make an effective contribution to the objectives of the 2040-2060 vision.
The Managing Director of Burundi Brewery, Thomas Minani, said that the main objective was to develop the company and improve production.
