BUJUMBURA, March 26th (ABP) – Processing fruit into natural juices is one of the solutions that will ensure the development of young people, Xavier Niyoyankunze, a young man who has opened a company called “Find Natural Products”, which processes natural juice from sugar cane, ginger, labetterave, lemon and red onions, said in an interview on Wednesday 19 March 2025.

According to Niyoyankunze, when he was unemployed, he often liked to visit social networks to get inspired by what others were doing. That’s how he came to be impressed by the young people who were turning fruit into juice.

Met near the Kiriri campus, in Bujumbura town hall, the young Niyoyankunze said that he had chosen that place, which is frequented by people who play sport, so that he could sell that juice. When the processed juice is not sold in its entirety, it must be kept in refrigerators, adding that it is forbidden to keep it for more than three days.

What makes his product special, he says, is that it is free of chemicals.

The only challenge, according to him, is the lack of sugar cane, which comes from distant provinces such as Ngozi, Muyinga and Rutana.

He reminded the young unemployed to create their own jobs instead of sitting on their hands, adding that a person who works for himself is better than one who works for someone else. Moreover, he said, the state is unable to take on all the young unemployed.

The young Niyoyankunze said that he had trained many unemployed young people who had been given opportunities in large processing industries.
