BUBANZA, October 17th (ABP) – Members of the CNDD-FDD party in the new municipality of Bubanza (North-West), who are of voting age, have been called upon to provide themselves with everything required, such as identity cards, in order to register for the forthcoming elections in 2025. This appeal was made to them on Monday 14 October 2024, during the visit and inauguration of some of the works of the party’s representative office in the new commune of Bubanza, according to local sources.
Some of the public infrastructures inaugurated by Alexandre Ngoragoze, Provincial Secretary of the CNDD-FDD political party in the extended province of Bujumbura, in the new commune of Bubanza, include 9 standpipes, 4 springs and the party’s headquarters on Kayange hill.
During the visit, Ngoragoze and the members of the office visited other projects carried out by the party’s representatives in the new commune of Bubanza, such as the afforestation of 3,222 eucalyptus trees, the planting of 356 avocado trees, and coffee and avocado tree nurseries. They have also built a house for a vulnerable person, and provided food and school supplies for needy families, as witnessed on site.
The party’s Communal Secretary in the new commune of Bubanza, Emmanuel Ntirandekura, indicated that the objective was to plant 27410 coffee trees, build 16 springs, 9 standpipes, 32 houses for the vulnerable, and a bridge linking the provinces of Bubanza and Cibitoke.
In his speech, Alexandre Ngoragoze, Provincial Secretary of the CNDD-FDD in the extended province of Bujumbura, called on party members of voting age without identity cards to seek them out as soon as possible, in order to register to vote in the forthcoming 2025 elections. The new commune of Bubanza is made up of the former communes of Bubanza and Musigati.
