KAYANZA December 11th (ABP) – On the eve of the 2025 elections, the communal administrator of Butaganzwa in Kayanza province (north), Janvière Kanyana, is asking her constituents not to pay attention to politicians who could confuse them, but rather to obey the recommendations of their leaders.

She made that appeal on Saturday December 7, 2024, when the Catholic Christians of Buraniro parish celebrated the day dedicated to the patron saint of the parish: “The Blessed Virgin Mary”.

According to Mrs. Janvière Kanyana, the year 2025 is a crucial period for the country, especially as, in addition to the elections, there are other activities already planned.

The people must therefore remain vigilant to avoid falling prey to distracters. She explained that those are Burundians intent on sowing panic and hatred among their fellow citizens, especially at election time.

That administrative authority in Butaganzwa thus urged her fellow citizens to roll up their sleeves in order to achieve the national vision and their own development. Ms. Kanyana took the opportunity to urge the people of Butaganzwa to elect leaders who are capable of doing so, and who know how to organize and manage the country and its public assets.
