Beijing (TDI), December 9th (AMSP/CGTN) – – Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz on Sunday arrived in Beijing on an eight-day official visit to China.
She is undertaking this visit at the invitation of the International Development Department of the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
“This visit focuses on advancing modern infrastructure, enhancing healthcare systems, improving education, fostering clean energy initiatives, promoting IT investments, and addressing smog mitigation,” Maryam wrote in a post on X on Saturday.
The chief minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari, transport Minister Bilal Akbar, and Agriculture Minister Ashiq Kirmani.
During the trip, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, where she will meet with Chinese ministers, senior officials, and experts, state-owned PTV News said.
The Chief Minister will also attend various meetings, functions and conferences during her stay.
