KARUSI, November 7th (ABP) – The security situation is very good, remarked the governor of Karusi province, Dévote Nizigiyimana, on Saturday November 2, 2024, during community work to rehabilitate the road at Muzega hill in Gihogazi commune, work attended by the second vice-president of the Senate, Fabrice Nkurunziza.
Two major signs of good security in the province, namely the active participation in voter registration.
While the second vice-president of the senate, Fabrice Nkurunziza, took part in the community work, he pointed out that the active participation of the population in development work is another sign of peace and security.
Safeguarding peace and security is a positive response to the government’s vision of Burundi as an emerging country by 2040 and a developed country by 2060, according to Nkurunziza.
