RUYIGI, May 28 (ABP) – The political party Rassemblement National pour le Changement (National Rally for Change: RANAC), represented by parliamentary candidate Mr. Olivier Igiraneza, held a rally on Friday, May 23, 2025, on Kigamba village in the zone, commune, and province of Ruyigi, as part of the upcoming legislative and local elections.
In front of party supporters and onlookers, candidate Igiraneza presented his platform centered on transforming the agricultural sector and actively involving youth in governance. He notably promised the establishment of mechanized agriculture through the introduction of new technologies in farming.
“Each commune in the new Buhumuza province will be equipped with at least four agricultural tractors and will benefit from the use of agricultural drones,” said Mr. Igiraneza. According to him, these innovations will significantly boost productivity, combat food insecurity, and accelerate local development.
Parliamentary candidate Igiraneza also placed special emphasis on youth involvement in public administration, pledging that young people would be integrated at all levels of decision-making within state institutions.
Through this campaign, Olivier Igiraneza aims to convince voters to support him by promoting a vision rooted in inclusive and sustainable development.
