MUKAZA, Oct 1 (ABP) – The organizing committee of Miss Together for Life Globe held a press conference on Monday, September 29, 2025, combined with the presentation of the Miss Together for Life Globe 2025 project.
The General Director of the competition within this organization, Titi Louange Igirubuntu, stated that the Miss Together for Life Globe contest is an international competition aimed at promoting young girls in extracurricular activities and global development. The eligibility criteria require girls aged between 15 and 19.
She indicated that the organization is working on the flagship project and oversees all the projects presented by the contestants. “We worked with associations, notably L’aide d’un bébé, which is an association that supports the vulnerable and orphanages in Burundi,” she explained, adding that this was part of strengthening the humanitarian sector.
Regarding upcoming projects, Ms. Igirubuntu stated that a call for applications is scheduled for October for the 2026 edition laureates. The challenges, she added, are financial and logistical (transport and accommodation).
Akimana Gratia Laurita Princia, Miss Together for Life Globe 2025, emphasized that her project aims to help and support young girls aged 13 to 25. She pledged to organize school tours in various localities across five provinces of the country, as well as to organize other events.
She also intends to empower talented young girls so they can defend their development projects and become ambassadors of change. Miss Akimana took this opportunity to call on associations, NGOs, and the government to support the promotion of youth and the beauty of the country.
