MUKAZA, Jan 7 (ABP) – The minister of communication and media, Gabby Bugaga, received in audience, on Tuesday January 6, 2026, the Algerian Ambassador to Burundi, Mrs. Sabah Fedel. The discussions focused on the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding in the fields of telecommunications.
In an interview given after the meeting, Mrs. Fedel indicated that she made a visit to Burundi as part of strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the field of telecommunications.
She reiterated her commitment to work with this minister and to support him, in order to improve their relations with the aim of contributing to the achievement of Burundi’s vision for the 2040-2060 horizon.
