GITEGA, April 24th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, presided over the Cabinet on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the presidential palace located in Gitega (the political capital and center of Burundi), with four points on the agenda.
The Cabinet first analyzed the draft law revising the Civil Code and the Family Code. This draft law was presented by the Minister of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security, Martin Niteretse.
The second item analyzed was the sectoral policy of the ministry of justice and its implementation strategy, presented by the Minister of Justice, Domine Bantankimbona.

The third point that was analyzed by the Cabinet on Wednesday was the draft decree establishing the technical monitoring committee for the implementation of the national development cooperation strategy, presented by the minister of foreign affairs and development cooperation, Ambassador Albert Shingiro.
