RUTANA, Sept 29 (ABP) – The Second deputy Lord Speaker of Burundi Clotilde Kampimbare paid a working visit on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Rutana commune, Burunga province, with the aim of providing both moral and material support to orphans and people living with disabilities.

Her tour began at the Foyer Saint Joseph orphanage center, located in the Kivoga zone, where she delivered aid consisting of notebooks, rice, bath soap, and laundry soap. She then continued her visit to the Gakwende center for people with disabilities, still within the same commune, where she distributed similar aid. She also promised to return with two sports balls and two sewing machines for them.

In her address, Clotilde Kampimbare encouraged the children to dedicate themselves seriously to their studies, avoiding distractions in order to build a better future. She also called on well-off residents to stay close to these children and persons with disabilities, emphasizing their need for love, assistance, and support, given their physical vulnerability.
