BUJUMBURA, January 20th (ABP) – The National Census Orientation Committee (CNOR) chaired by Prime Minister Gervais Ndirakobuca, held a meeting on Friday, January 17, 2025, to analyze the draft decree on the publication of the preliminary results from the general census of the population, housing, agriculture and livestock (RGPHAE).
At the end of the meeting, the secretary of the CNOR, Nicolas Ndayishimiye, told the press that during the said session, the draft decree on the publication of the preliminary results from the RGPHAE was analyzed and that recommendations aimed at providing the appropriate substance and form were formulated.
He did not fail to point out that the said draft decree will be forwarded to the next Council of Ministers for deliberation, then to be signed by the Head of State. According to Nicolas Ndayishimiye, the CNOR’s wish is that these preliminary results from the RGPHAE be published during this month of January 2025.
