RUTANA, November 29th (ABP) – Members of the district platform for food and nutritional security (PCSAN) should work in synergy with district development partners working in the nutritional sector, with the aim of eradicating malnutrition- linked diseases.

The appeal came from the chief of staff in the office of the governor of Rutana province, Mrs. Bélyne Nahimana, on the occasion of a visit that the provincial platform for food and nutritional security (PPSAN) of the said province carried out on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Bukemba district, to inquire about the situation of the PCSAN of that district.

After noting that the said district platform had not yet started its activities, Mrs. Nahimana reminded its members that their specifications include the coordination of projects and programmes in the nutritional sector carried out in their district by development partners. As for the advisor in charge of socio-cultural affairs in Rutana province, Mrs. Jacqueline Nzeyimana, she invited the members of PCSAN Bukemba to collaborate with development partners in raising awareness among the people, so that they can, on a daily basis, put into practice the food disciplines taught to them by the partners, including Word Vision and Safe Inclusion.
