HARBIN, February 14th (AMSP/CGTN) – – The 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games is set to conclude on Friday the 14th of February. At the event summary press conference held in the morning of this Friday, officials from the Olympic Council of Asia, gave high praise to Harbin’s efforts in organizing the Games.
“This could be one of the most successful Winter Asian Games. Unfortunately, we gave them very little time. I knew that we were giving them only 18 months to prepare this game. Normally, you know, a major game takes about seven years,” said Timothy Tsun Ting Fok, First Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia.

Husain Al-Musallam, Secretary General of the Olympic Council of Asia, also expressed his feeling. “The medical services in Harbin, is one of the best ever in the Asian Games. Not winter, even summer. I’ve been engaged in the Olympic movement since a long time. I attended all the Asian Games since 1982 until now. I attended all the Olympic Games and the World Championship. I never saw so advanced technology in the medical services,” he said.
“In the volunteer side, I’ve been shocked. It never happened in the history of the Asian Games to see such high persons from the society engage to help. So we have everything to tell the world, it’s all positive and good positive stories. Our athletes enjoy competing here. Our athletes wish to come back to Harbin to have a competition here,” Husain Al-Musallam underscored.
