KAYANZA, April 21st (ABP) – The local administration of Matongo commune in Kayanza province (north) held a meeting on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, marking the end of community outreach visits organized in the zones to gather the population’s grievances. That closure took place in the Kabuye zone, where various advice was given to the residents who participated in the meeting, a check on site by ABP has revealed.
Speaking to the residents of the Kabuye zone, the administrator of Matongo commune, Alice Nsabiyumva, emphasized that security prevails on all the villages and that the residents are freely going about their daily activities.
In view of the upcoming elections, she urged members of different political parties not to see each other as enemies but to remain calm, especially as they have a common mission of development.
Nsabiyumva also called on couples to revalue family education by avoiding free unions and cohabitation, which have become a matter of discussion, especially in the Kabuye zone.
