MUKAZA, August 19 (ABP) – An interdenominational conference named EHAD Conference will be held from August 19 to 22, 2025, at the El Shaddaï Church in Bujumbura, announced the pastor of the said church, Mr. Eric Ndayikengurutse, during a press conference held on Monday, August 18, ahead of the event.
Speaking to journalists, Mr. Ndayikengurutse stated that the main objective of this conference is to promote unity among Christian churches in their diversity. He explained that the word EHAD is a Hebrew term meaning “plural unity,” emphasizing that it is a vision calling churches, as the body of Christ, to work together in unity while valuing the diversity of spiritual gifts.

According to him, the conference program will include panels, biblical teachings, moments of praise and worship, times of prayer, as well as testimonies of Christian life, spread over the four days of the event. Several topics will be addressed for the edification of the body of Christ, including: the passing of the torch between generations, managing intra- and inter-church conflicts, the essential role of women in ministry, and “Standing in the Gap for the Nation.”

The 2025 edition marks the second EHAD Conference, which will bring together twenty Christian churches, including El Shaddaï, Karpos, City Of Living God (CLG), GOA (Glory Outreach Assembly), among others. As a reminder, the first edition, organized in 2023, had gathered six churches.

Mr. Ndayikengurutse made a call to the entire population to actively participate in this spiritual event, which will be held every evening during the mentioned days.
