The Secretary of the CNDD-FDD party in Burunga province, Mr. Sylvain Nzikoruriho, recalled that this celebration was part of the tour undertaken to demonstrate the party’s strength, following stops in Musongati, Makamba, and Rumonge, Rutana being the fourth commune visited. He affirmed that the CNDD-FDD is in a good position in the commune, although they are still waiting to see which among the communes of the expanded Burunga province will take the lead.
He also emphasized that the mobilization came amid an electoral context, where some political opponents are seeking to discourage party activists by using various strategies to disperse their support. According to him, these maneuvers include spreading rumors, misinformation, and other pressure tactics. He reassured activists that, whatever happens, the CNDD-FDD party remains strong and determined. He encouraged activists to remain confident, affirming that the party will achieve its goal. He added that Burunga province will take the lead in terms of support for the CNDD-FDD.
Mr. Nzikoruriho also paid tribute to God, emphasizing that the CNDD-FDD party is not an ordinary party, but one born out of suffering and whose mission is to unite Burundians.

He recalled that since the party came to power in 2005, Burundi has regained lasting stability, allowing citizens to live in peace and security. He emphasized that this peace and security achieved thanks to the CNDD-FDD party are achievements that Burundians must never forget.
For her part, Doriane Munezero, National Secretary for Communications within the CNDD-FDD party, stated that the mobilization observed in Rutana province testifies to the progress made by the province. She affirmed that this is no longer a time to teach party values to activists, but rather, to encourage them to go and teach them to others. She emphasized that Rutana province has the potential to surprise activists in other provinces with its commitment.
She then conveyed a message from the Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, Révérien Ndikuriyo, urging activists not to wait for things to come to them, but to actively seek them out. She emphasized that Burundi today is very different from that of yesterday and urged activists to remain vigilant and preserve the party’s achievements.
She also encouraged party officials to inspire and motivate their comrades, recalling that every progress made is a step toward the country’s development. She concluded by calling on Burundians to be united, vigilant, and to consolidate the gains made in the province.
It is worthy to note that before the start of the grand parade, CNDD-FDD party activists inaugurated a house built for a widow left by a veteran.
