GISAGARA, March 11 (ABP) – Members of the CNDD-FDD party in Buhumuza are called upon to strengthen harmony with the rest of the population in order to guarantee peace and security.
This appeal was made to them by the leader of the youth league of this party in Buhumuza province, the deputy Shaban Nimubona, during a meeting to evaluate the achievements of this party in Gisagara commune since the end of the 2025 elections and to exchange New Year’s wishes for 2026.

The president of the Imbonerakure youth league in Buhumuza, Mr. Nimubona, praised the collaboration between the leaders of this party in Gisagara commune.
He nevertheless recalled that peace and security are indispensable pillars of development, calling on the Bagumyabanga and the entire population to preserve them.
This leader also urged the members to strengthen peaceful coexistence with members of other political parties in order to build a healthy and strong society.

Moreover, he encouraged them to continue the fight against poverty by putting an end to smuggling and idleness (ligalas), and instead engage in self-development work.
The objective is to actively contribute to the building of an emerging Burundi. In this perspective, Mr. Shaban invited the Imbonerakure to organize themselves into cooperatives and to particularly promote avocado cultivation, coffee growing, as well as other export-oriented crops.
For his part, the communal secretary of the CNDD-FDD in Gisagara, Frédéric Nzoyisaba, reviewed the ongoing projects, notably the rehabilitation and tracing of roads linking villages, campaigns for planting coffee trees and avocado trees, as well as the promotion of public hygiene.
The ceremonies, which began with a show of strength by the CNDD-FDD, saw the participation of officials from the CCM party of Kakonko commune, in the United Republic of Tanzania.
