MAKAMBA, Dec 26 (ABP) – Officials in Makamba commune, Burunga province, urge residents to avoid consuming prohibited beverages to maintain good health. The Communal Executive Secretary, Mr. Anicet Nshimirimana, made this appeal following the dumping of prohibited beverages at various unlicensed factories in the Makamba and Kayogoro zones of Makamba commune, a check by ABP revealed.
Mr. Nshimirimana stated that these prohibited beverages are harmful to health. The communal administration, in conjunction with law enforcement, has decided to launch a campaign to seize and dump these beverages. He indicated that hygiene is deplorable in the production facilities. He further noted that the beverage containers are collected haphazardly, along with all the surrounding filth.
