MUKAZA, August 6 (ABP) – A delegation from the Burundian diaspora has conducted a mission visit on Thursday, July 31, 2025, during which they evaluated the state of achievements led by their members in various sectors.
After visiting Tanganyika Care Hospital, owned by a member of the diaspora, the chairman of the Burundian Diaspora Association, Samuel Ndayiragije, emphasized on the importance of this initiative. He expressed deep gratitude to the initiator of the Tanganyika Care Hospital project, considering their work as a contribution to improving public health, and described it as an example to follow.
Ndayiragije called on all members of the Burundian diaspora to take inspiration from this commendable initiative and to contribute, each in their own way, to the development of the country. He particularly stressed the need to invest in Burundi in order to help realize the national vision for 2040-2060.
The second visit took place in the Ntahangwa commune, in the Miroir neighborhood, where the diaspora delegation reviewed the progress of the Ubaka Nation Group’s projects.
During this visit, these Burundians from the diaspora, currently in the country for the “2025 Diaspora Week,” visited the Fabhomes II Airport construction site, which is currently in the foundation-laying stage. According to the forecasts, the project will be executed in two phases and will include more than 150 housing units, including VVIP Villas, VIP Villas, Apartments, and Premium Villas with pools.
Fablice Manirakiza, the initiator of the Ubaka Nation Group, stated that reaching this stage involved overcoming many challenges, especially the skepticism of certain individuals who believe the project would not succeed.
The chief of the Burundian Diaspora Association expressed his appreciation for the creator of this real estate project also a member of the diaspora stating that this project positively impacts the country’s development. He then urged others to follow this model to help achieve the vision of an emerging Burundi by 2040 and a fully developed nation by 2060.
