BUJUMBURA, October 24th (ABP) – The Cabinet met on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in Bujumbura, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic Evariste Ndayishimiye, according to the press release issued by the General Secretariat of State.
According to that press release, the Cabinet analyzed the national defense policy and sectoral strategy documents, the draft decree on the management of electronic communication equipment and terminals connectable to networks. According to the same press release, the Cabinet also analyzed the draft decree on the creation, missions, organization and operation of the National Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Pact for Food and Agriculture in Burundi, the note relating to the holding of the Annual General Assembly and Scientific Conference of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA), as well as miscellaneous items.
