BUJUMBURA, October 10th (ABP) – The Head of State, Evariste Ndayishimiye, on the sidelines of the opening of the fifth edition of the High-Level Forum of Women Leaders, received at the presidential palace Ntare Rushati, the four first ladies who took part in that forum organized by the Office of the First Lady for Development in Burundi (OPDD-Burundi).
They are Serbian First Lady Tamara VUČIĆ; Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC); Nigerian First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and Gabonese First Lady Zita Oligui.
Note that before the presidential couple received those four first ladies for an open discussion, the Head of State, Evariste Ndayishimiye, first received the First Lady of Serbia in audience for a tête-à-tête.
The latter was the bearer of a message from the President of Serbia, Aleksandar VUČIĆ to his Burundian counterpart, about the shared interest in strengthening cooperation between their friendly countries.
