BUBANZA, December 17th (ABP) – Members of the women’s league of the CNDD-FDD, and members of the party in the extended province of Bujumbura (North-West Burundi), are called upon to take advantage of the peace and security regained to align themselves with the vision 2040-2060, to prioritize good deeds and love of neighbor.
The appeal was made to them on Saturday, December 14, 2024 by the provincial leader of the women’s league “Bakenyererarugamba”, Sylvie Nizigama, when they came to the aid of the vulnerable in the new district of Bubanza.
In that district, they granted 4 houses to the vulnerable from Mitakataka, Musigati, Kivyuka and Bubanza Counties. Among these were widows and widowers, orphans and others. They also paid bills for the destitute patients of the Musigati and Bubanza hospitals. All those vulnerable people benefited from aid in hoes, clothes and food with the aim of enabling them to celebrate the end of year events like the others
Mrs. Nizigama called on the “Bakenyererarugamba”, and members of the party in general in that province, to avoid anything that discourages them and lamentations, but to take advantage of the peace and security found, for their self-development and the development of their homeland, by working with the goal of achieving the Vision of Burundi: emerging country by 2040 and developed country in 2060. She also invited them to always favor good deeds and love of neighbor because, he said, God has the first place within the CNDD-FDD party.
Note that the new district of Bubanza is made up of former districts of Bubanza and Musigati.
